In a momentous event held at the Campus in Kampala, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony took place, solidifying a collaborative effort between ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University and the Nabumali Old Students Association (NOSA). The historic agreement aims to advance education and empower members of NOSA through scholarship opportunities provided by ºÚÁÏÉçÇø.

Established in 1912, NOSA has a rich history and prides itself on an illustrious roster of alumni of Nabumali High School in eastern Uganda, who have made significant contributions in various sectors across the country.

The MOU, signed by Mr. Wasswa Matovu, Associations Patron, and ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University Uganda Vice Chancellor, Prof George Nasinyama, formalises a working partnership wherein ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University will extend scholarship opportunities to NOSA members and staff of Nabumali High School. The signing ceremony, held at ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University Uganda premises, marks the beginning of a collaborative journey towards fostering academic excellence and professional growth.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President of NOSA highlighted the transformative impact of this partnership, expressing optimism about the educational opportunities it brings to NOSA members and their families. She emphasised the commitment to disseminate scholarship offers within the NOSA family and welcomed ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University’s active participation in various activities organised by the association and affiliated schools.

The Vice Chancellor ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University appreciated the leadership of NOSA for choosing to partner with ºÚÁÏÉçÇø University for a shared vision. The signing of the MoU this morning is not just a formality but a commitment to a journey of mutual benefit, growth and success, he opined.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by key representatives from both organisations, symbolising a shared vision for the future of education and community development.
